"What could be better than celebrating 31 years of marital bliss? Well, for my husband and me who are both “fab-foodaholics”, it was a catered, candlelit, romantic dinner prepared and served by Purple Onion Cuisine. While many wives yearn for emeralds or rubies, it was the green and red in the Arugula and Frisee with Blood Orange, Candystripe Beets, and Blood Orange Vinaigrette starter that made me salivate. The main was comprised of Tenderloin of Beef Medallions with Green Peppercorn Sauce, Roasted Coloured Carrots and Parsnips, Savoy Cabbage with Double Smoked Bacon, Gratin of Jerusalem Artichokes, and Potato, Parsnip and Leek Mash. The crowning touch was an Amaretto Chocolate Torte which was almost as sweet as the marriage. The beauty of the evening was that neither of us had to be the Designated Driver, and we could both be Designated Lovers! It was an anniversary to remember. Thank you Purple Onion Cuisine!"
